Nightmare

Written a while ago. Primary school I think :)

Your family is meant to stick by you
Your friends are meant to love
So why am I sitting here alone
Lonely as a dove?

No one here to reassure me,
They've deserted me, they dont care!
All alone with an itchy head
ITS JUST NOT FAIR

It's scary alone at a time like this
My heart plummeted as I was first!
The scariest time of a childs life
Waiting in line for the Nit Nurse!

I wake up, screaming and sweating
I scratch my head, theres no itch
It was only a nightmare, I thought
Or was it?
