Brings us in contact with others
Children, fathers, mothers
Sharing is indeed a special gift
Scary too- it requires taking a risk
Giving of ourselves can bring us close
It can also bring unexpected news
Still- sharing brings inner growth- almost
Likened to payment- of monthly dues
Our hearts sometimes harden
From hurtful things done to us
Our minds sometimes lock- do not pardon
Time sweeps everything away- slow or brisk
Each day we can say- I will be brave
I will follow life's winding twist
Today I will dare to take a risk!
