Where has all the color gone?
Life is plotted out in black and white
You feel alone in the world again
In darkness your smile shines bright
And through those sad eyes
Your lonely soul speaks

I'll write until my fingers bleed
I'll sing until my heart pours out
Across this page
I paint the beauty
I've finally seen inside myself

Where have all the people gone?
I'm alone in the world once more
Forever lost in empty silence
Won't somebody open a door?
Through those deep brown eyes

I'll scream until my lungs give out
I'll sing until my voice is heard
Across the sky
In a field of daisies
I'm the red amongst the white
