"The First Time"

My first poem

the very first time i saw you
i knew you would be mine
i knew i had to have you
untill the end of time

it took you a whole year
to finally ask me out
i felt so much fear
and i had so much doubt

you came a whole day early
because you said you couldnt wait
i was so happy to see you
i knew for sure it was fate

i've been your wife for two years now
i gave birth to our little girl Dixie Mae
in seven more months you'll be daddy again
im so glade that we met that day!
