Disappearing

This is one of my other poems...It used to be a song, but i Tweaked it.

Life is getting dark
Love is getting cold
My heart is hardening
The light is dimming

When did life get so dark?
Why is love becoming so cold?
What made my heart harden?
Who is making the light dim?

I need someone's help
I need someone's love
I need someone to hold me close
For it’s the only way to soften my heart up

When did the light go so far away?
Why is my heart so cold?
What made me so closed up?
Who is making everything disappear?

Help me see the light
Show me the beauty of life
Show me the warmth of your love
Help my frozen heart thaw
