Belief

Just trying to think on my own.

I seem to recall a certain time
  When life was full of sun.

That was the only time.

People say many things
About many things not known;
They seem to believe what others believe
And not what life has shown.

          So the trees are pink,
          The sun is grey,
          The earth is flat,
          If that's what I say.

Was that the only time?
