the moon light is very powerful
its said it can make a person change
the old person begins to fade away

as you walk hand in hand along the milky way
he begins to say things you never thought you'd hear him say
and all you can think about is how much u want him to stay

as you two lay there in the moonlight
your glad you got to have this special night
when you two are together everything feels so right

even if its only for one night
lots of wonderful things have happened in the moonlight

the night is almost over now
the moon light went away
and now you two go your own seperate ways
