Entrapment

A slow realisation of pain which controls a person.

I put my hands over my chest;
As I muffle the sounds of my heart breaking;
I crumble into a ball on the floor;
Becoming a cage to the screming wildness within;
Nothing can hold up my empty body;

The sadness inside infests my eyes;
As the hurt trails down my cheek;
You can watch as the pain creeps through my veins;
Causing me to rip at myself, trying to get what crawls beneath;

My mind is so lost;
I cant control the search for the sane person inside;
I need to find a way to run away from myself ;
But I am like an animal tearing at a cage;
Look at me;
I seem at peace but you will never see the war within...
