Forget his name
Forget his face
Forget his kiss and last embrace
Forget his love that once was true
Remember now there’s someone new

Forget the love that you shared
Forget the fact that he cared
Forget the times you spent together
Remember now he’s her forever

Forget you cried the whole night long
Forget him when you hear your song
Forget how close you two once were
Remember now he’s chasing her

Forget the times he used to phone
Forget the times you spent alone
Forget he made your dreams come true
Remember now there’s someone new

Forget the times in the past
Forget them all, they went so fast
Forget he said, “I’ll leave you never.”
Remember now he’s gone forever

A/N - This poem was actually written for a friend of mine when we were in high school (although I refuse to tell you how long ago that was). It seemed to fit with this style of poetry, so I thought I would include it here.
