This poem is written for the love of my life!

PROMISE

My heart aches without you inside it's all true
tell me...what am I to do?
The day we loved each other in our infamous covers
I knew right then...we were meant for each other.

That place you touched deep inside of me
the one place only spirits see--Now I'm part of you and you're part of me...for all the whole world to see.

A love so rich incredibly passionate the torch inside of me yes...you have lit.

You know the depths of my soul yes the key you hold your love is so warm...never cold.

I yearn for the day in my arms you'll stay
and yes my love...I continue to pray.

The angels they smile we're apart all the while
our love is protected...and never defiled.

So before I go there's something I must know
when will things be...as they once were before?

My patience is wearing my poor heart is tearing
and it's not right for me...to be swearing.

But I promise you this inside you are truly missed
I can't live another year...deprived of your kiss.
