What did I do
To make you
Not love me anymore?
What did I say
that made you
Walk away?
What fault of mine
made you blind
To the fact that I need you?

I still wonder
what I did wrong
I still remember
when our love was strong
But you turned away from me
left me all alone
I thought you still loved me
But I should have known.

Now I’m here remembering
what our life was like before
With no understanding of
why you walked out that door
I wish I knew if I was to blame
Or if fault lies with you
But I don’t think I’ll ever know
