Graduation Day

This is a poem I created for my high school batch.

Time really seems to fly so fast
I barely noticed that 3 years had already passed
It seems just yesterday, we’re total strangers
But now we’re all great friends and in everything we’re partners

We’ve had our share of good times and bad times
And of course sleepless nights because of project deadlines
Despite of that there’s not a single moment I regret
Because it brought me to people like you whom I won’t ever forget

As I graduate and go up the stage
I would like to give my classmates and teachers this message
Thank you for touching my life in a way only you could do
And for making it a lot more colorful too

And now I receive my diploma while blinking back the tears
I look back to all the memories
Wonderful memories that’ll always stay in my heart
Even if this is the last time we’ll be together and our paths would forever part
