Alone

For the times when another person being there matters!

Alone.....

I closed my arms around my chest,
i held myself tight.
Just because i was, really lonely that night.
I missed the way you held me,
caressed me and touched me
Did things to please me,
and just continued to love me.
I knew you were there beside me,
but that was not the person I knew.
Your touch was different and so were you.
Now, it was not me you were after,
neither kind words nor soft caresses belonged to us anymore.
I knew that now things had changed and that i was alone....
