To those of you I've been trying to please --
I no longer feel the need

To those of you I've been trying to change myself for--
I no longer will

For those I've sought validation from--
I no longer need it

I have found strength within myself, courage I was unaware of

I have faced my past sins and demons and accepted them

I'm learning more about myself everyday

Changing and growing stronger

Accepting and liking myself, faults and all, more and more

I'm a work in progress
