Sometimes

This poem I wrote for her got us through a tough time.

Sometimes I lie down and cry

Sometimes I look away and sigh.

Some days I wake up and look to my side

Some days, only in you, I can confide

I know for sure that you and me are forever

This connection between us, I’ll will not sever

I have no doubts and neither should you

I’ll stick with you baby, through and through

Because sometimes life deals you a shitty hand

And all the time it seems, luck is in high demand.

Sometimes it takes a while for boy to grow to man

Sometimes it takes a while for girl to find her plan

But lets not tread on this time, lets live life for fun

We must, we have to, come on baby, we only get one

Sometimes I struggle, but with you I’ll stay

You make me feel complete, each and every day

And for years when I was young, many times for you I prayed

So lets spend the rest of our time together in this crazy masquerade
