Close one chapter of your life and open up another one.

Transition

It's a rite of passage they say
but to many they dread the day
that they will don awkward hats
and tell each other 'Congrats!'

For me that day has come and gone
on the horizon is the new dawn
shortly I shall be on my own
receiving higher education on a loan

I'm not quite sure how to feel
or sure if I will be able to deal
with all the new experiences at once
will it be a flop or will it be a bunce?

I do know one thing for sure
that my future this should secure
and that these four years will go fast
creating memories that are sure to last
