I had it featured in a(n) E-Zine article and on Poetry.com... |
| She watched me hurt, I watched her lie, She saw my young soul start to die, I saw her smile, As She watched me cry, I watched my father leave my side, She saw my deepest fears, Of which I tried to hide, She burned every last hope I had inside, I felt sorrow in all I did, She tried her best to stear me wrong, As I tried my best to get along, I felt like she put me to shame, She looked at me with hardened eyes, I winced everytime I heard her voice, She spoke to me with such cold words, I tried to love her, I really did, She knows I know she never did, I always wanted a normal life, She basically insisted I lived with such strife, I prayed so hard for God to end my life, She said I was terribly wrong for wanting to be dead, Buts its better, Than to remember what she had said. |
