Life

Life is a many-faceted creature,
Life has its ups and downs.
Life is unpredictable,
One moment laughing, the next, a frown.
Like a roller coaster,
Life can spin out of control
Until you’re so sure you don’t have the handle
That guides the roller coaster on where to go
But also like the roller coaster,
Life eventually slows down
So that you can take a breath and steady yourself
For the next round.
