Rejoin

A "Pi" poem about the moments of birth (for the 'Writer's Cramp')

Softly he appears
Newborn!
From warmth to cold
Tender!
Doctor carries him upside down.
With broken heart he yells for life, all laugh.
He yawns!
Carefully, the nurse holds him gently.
Painful separation from his mummy,
he looses connection,
only terrible feelings of aloneness.
All of a sudden, he faces strange life
which was a shocking severance moment, he's not relaxed.
He hates being left, nurse approaches mummy;
feeling her heart beats, he calms down in peace.
They rejoin again!
