A simple poem on a complex theme.

Everlasting?

One drop in an ocean of forgetfulness
Ripples outwards unto a break,
But, if there were no break
Would the ripples never cease,
Would the drop acquire name?
Would the drop last forver?

And if I am the drop,
And the ripples those I effect-
If there were no break,
Would the ripples never cease?
Would I last forever?
