Why?

This is just a poem I wrote when I was bored but I liek the style it turned out to become

why do I want
(constantly)
what I cannot have
(disappointing)
it hurts so much
(suffering)
but I continue
(foolish)
to want what I do
(stubborn)
against what other say
(risky)
they might know
(uncertain)
what I want
(perhaps)
although I don’t
(honestly)
truly know
(seriously)
what I want
(anything)
i can pretend
(imagine)
wish for what I could
(somewhat)
want from life
