In 100 Words...

ok, this is a really bad free-verse poem that i just made up one night.

hey all, a little background here- i was super bored one night, and i was sitting at the computer with a new Word document in front of me. this just kind of... happened. well, it's called "In 100 Words" because it's exactly 100 words long.

all around me,
people talking,
people joking,
laughing too.
but nothing that
they say now matters
to me ‘cause
i’m here with you.
your words are
music to my ears;
your smile is
an angel’s kiss;
to be in
your company
gives me a feeling
of heav’nly bliss.
you stare at me;
your eyes ablaze,
and i return
the loving gaze.
the world around me
disappears,
as i am lost
in your embrace;
all the while
my mind is filled
with visions of
your sweet face.
i know now,
‘tis my fate,
i’ve finally found
my true soul mate.
