Where did we get lost,

I was there in the hollow moon,

Standing in the perfect storm,

Lost in the beginning

And distracted in the past,



You could not see beyond the wind,

The rain of life held you down,

Still I stood unaware of your heart,

And the storm that held your hand.



The empty space in the eye,

Was a calm disguise of fear,

If we only knew the end,

We could celebrate our survival.





Two souls tethered by love,

Separated by scars,

And healed by memories,

Blue skies appear and a new life begins.
