I like the style. You certainly knew what you were doing with your technique in this poem of twelve years ago, so there seems no need to tell you everything you did well. I've read many poems in the past, and am not greatly excited by much anymore in that regard. But it's been a while since I first came to this site, and I was expecting the first poem I read here on my return to be clumsier. But it seems I may have found a good poet. Well done.
