I really liked reading this. It was interesting and made me want to meet this person. I'm not sure if you like Stephanie Meyer, but she just released a novella about one of the newborn vampires and the other vampires she encounters. There is a character in her novella that is like yours. However, I liked your description of him better, the strangeness. The only thing I didn't like was when you seemed to contradict yourself. It says he left un-noticed, just like he arrived, but he could also tell when people were about to end their tolerance, which implies that they do notice him. This is a minor detail, and overall a great read :)
