Great poem which is saying a lot since I'm trying to free myself of rhyming lines so I tend to shy away from other rhyming verse.

This is a great way to give voice to that awkward moment. :)

Don't be afraid to break out of the line length-
Making its makr on each
and every day

Those that are mean
Those that are kind

It will give emphasis to these lines as well as create a better flow. I stopped to think which makes more sense/sounds better Making its mark on each day vs. making its mark on every day, or maybe making its mark on each and every day.
