I think that the best thing about the poem is the portrayed emotion. The usage of words and symbols genuinely expressed to me exactly what the author was feeling and helped me to feel similarly. The words and language used was good, but I found myself lacking a little in terms of comprehension. I got the context of a party, but deeper comprehension of the circumstances eluded me. Overall, a good poem that does what I think it sets out to do.
