It was a very moving story. Our men and women in the military should hold special places in our hearts, as well as their families. They sacrifice a lot for the freedoms we enjoy. And while we may not always agree with war, politics or government, we are in a free society because and only because of the volunteer military personnel.
I would recommend that when you're quoting the older gentlemen, that you put his words into italics or underline them, to differentiate from the rest of the text.
