Ann I have been reading your poems more often be it for GPs but you are one author or poet who just keeps churning good work.
Not many can create so much work with out losing quality. You have written so much yet your finese is always there for every one to see.
A beautiful poem with nothing wrong in it, except a few line like the last line in the first stanza don't quite gel or may be they don't rhyme as well as the other lines.
I really have to say that Ann is one of the best poets around at writing.com . I have been mostly reading her poems at the AUTO REWARD and so far what I have read is Top class and I have much higher expectations from her.
As for this poem she has done an excellent job in portraying the survivors apathy and luck. He is alive is luck and good but his wife and friend are gone taking a major peice of his life.
The words are like flowing river never breaking apart and yet all of the emotions flow together but apart.

This according to me i not one yur best works but I still have t say that is unique and different from the ther two poems of yours I have read so far. This poem is not flowing and a little less beautifull but it say all your emotions and thats the most important thing for a poet to pour his feelings, hi anger his guilt hi/hers Loneliness. I think you have done just taht inthis poem by putting your mental anguish of loosing betty
I a still new and wouldn't lie but it was the gift points that attracted to some of the article pems etc i have reviwed and truly Ann you I find is one of the best pets around. Your poetry is simple and yet endearing . I think thsi poems reflect your loving side pretty efficeintly. I haven't found any writer flawless but you certainly have to be the one with the leat amount of flaws. Other than your poems being too simple and short I don't find anything wrong with your poetry.
I really hav t say that this was one of the best poem I have raed anywhere I am also a budding poet and I really love the way the words flow and make great sense. Not everyone likes poetry and nor does every one understand poetry and this poem is as crystal clear as you could get.
