Are you a fan of Bill Watterson by any chance? As this reminds quite a bit of some of the poems he would throw into his comic strip 'calvin and Hobbes'' and, for me at least, this fills me with nostalgia as if I were once again some small child on one of my families awful trips across the country roasting away in an air conditionerless hatchback =]
