This is very charged and compelling material but the presentation isn't "polished". I too have survived unbelievable medical challenges which I won't list here. The danger with our type of material is it's so intense and personal no one wants to critisize the writing. I find that annoying with my writing efforts. I hope you value honesty. There are spelling and grammar and style improvements to be made. You are an amazing person with an amazing story I just would like to see it crafted in an amazing way, you deserve that. Keep going!
