Well written, if a bit too short. No errors that I could see, and exciting deposition. Definitely grabbed my attention from the first word, and kept it up to the... er, somewhat expected ending. I'd look forward to another chapter, this one perchance explaining the importance and story behind Bethany.

Keep writing! I can't wait to see what comes out of you next!

A little jejune, but overall a good read. Of course, you kno how I feel about poetry, so. Meh. i didn't like the reference to "bid farewell to this world", it's ambiguity leads one to wonder whether you were implying suicide or merely waiting lonesomely til the end, neither of which are pleasant options.
