I am fast becoming a fan of your work. The character, Norton, is just so full of life...you bring him to life just as you do in Remote Control.
I could feel the breeze when Norton was on his walk..I could see the devastation of the crash, and i was right there with him in the hospital.

My thoughts are that maybe some of the paragraphs are a little long and would benefit from a split here and there.
