I'm new at this, so I'm not sure I'm rating you fairly but you write like a professional. Very clean style and the story flows very smoothly. Also good imagery. The dialogue fits in nicely, conveying a good sense of the characters. Good ending, a little vicarious good feeling for any aspiring writer. Eight and a half million dollars wouldn't come in bad.
