The ending is a nice cliff hanger to make the reader really want to turn to the next page. The description is nice. From what the Esidius uses as magic, makes me wonder what kind of powers "they", the one that are back, have. It's definitely a great start to a fantasy book. You introduce the problem that will have to be overcome and also keep it secret enough to have the reader hooked. The work is very well laid out.
