great poem, I thought that it was very heartfelt. It made me think of my youngest brother heading out to Afghanistan this past summer (though on a plane rather than train) Thank you for remembering the soldiers, thank you for your beautiful words. Your writing style put a lot of good imagery in my mind. I felt like i was there watching it all take place
