Wow! The feeling and intensity this poem emanates is almost breath-taking. You are a wonderful writer. Close-death is something I've also recently battled with my sister...the pain can be unbearable at times. I could only hope that this freedom you speak of at the end of your poem stays within reach.

I especially liked the line "The Reconstruction of a Broken Spirit," again, very well written. Kudo's to you!
