a nice poetic essay, prose poem about creativity and what it all means. I like how you focus on yarn and knitting as a larger metaphor for the creative process.

a short but well done homage to a mother's love for her children no matter where in the world they roam she will love them until the end of her time on earth, as that is what a mother does.

a powerful and moving story about dealing with the horrors of watching your parents die of Alzheimer's. I can relate to having lost my mother to Alzheimer's and my father-in-law, too.

A powerful and moving poem about love behind bars as a man vows to redeem himself and become the man he needs to be once he is out his love though has doubts I like these lines

Still, you held on, hoping time might prove
that a wounded man can someday choose
truth over trouble, love over fear,
hope over the voices whispering in his ear.

Yet freedom came knocking, and so did the past,
and those jailhouse vows couldn’t seem to last.
Chains break easy when they’re made of words,
and dreams fall quiet when they go unheard.

Nice ode to home-made bread. We used to make homemade gluten-free bread but have not made bread at home for some time.

A powerful and moving poem about a all too common phenomenon -widespread anxiety about the state of the world, and what the future may bring to us and our broader world. I would have made this more of a political rant.

a powerful and moving poem about meeting the love of your life when you least expected it. True love is like that, I know I met my wife after dreaming about meeting her for eight years. We have been together now 42 years and

A powerful and moving poem about someone going back in time to give advice to their younger self. A theme I have often thought about as well. If only one could go back and do a cosmic do-over? is a theme I think about. I liked the flow and the overall tone of this story. There is a great K drama called Hello Me that explores this theme - a middle-aged woman who has lost her way somehow meets her 18 year old self who is disappointed in what her life has become and together helps her get her groove back You might like this drama.

Captures the moral dilemma perfectly. During my career, I was faced frequently with having to do what the regulations and policy directions of my bosses told me, and do the right thing, following my heart. I usually gave in and did what was needed, although I felt it was the wrong thing to do from a moral point of view. I always said, let's first decide what is the right thing to do, then decide how and if we can do it within the rules and regulations, and whether we can request a waiver to do the right thing. some of my colleagues were by-the-book types and did not consider my questions about the right thing to be valid concerns. All they cared about was whether we followed the rules, even if the rules were unjust or did not make sense, or were unclear.

a nicely done poem about guard dogs and feral cats. Reminds me of a famous thing a few years back. I saw in SF one day a man in a mohawk walking his dog. on top of the dog was a cat and on top of the cat was a white mouse. They all seemed to be best friends. A wild sight only in SF moment.

a bit long winded and rambling but great message, form and tone. I'd break into three of four more focued shorter poemspeh perhaps with a refrain at the end of each status the last line would work fine

a great poetic take on the age old question why do writers write? My answer below is because we must I've added a new entry to my book, "Space Blog Entry:
"Why We write sort of the Buddha nature of being a writer after all.

great western story about inheriting a pair of cowboy boots from a famous gunslinger western bandit. I liked the flow, and the general story line. Two formatting issues though mar this story. it would read better if you changed the default fonts to a bigger font and also changed the default line spacing to double-spacing, and if you added an index to each paragraph. you can go to the icons above to do that fairly easily and if you make these changes your readers would appreciate it.

I disagree with your basic premises and your interpretation of the Bible and God's will. However, I applaud you for expressing your point of view in such a comprehensive a matter.in short, we will agree that we disagree.

Great background information on the Bigfoot legend. I am a believer that Bigfoot exist in the Pacific northwest mountains, which are largely unexplored and are big wilderness areas. I believe that we will eventually find Bigfoot and capture one or two and find that they are remnants of the old nenathadrals that someone survive.

great summary of how to create characters. I like some writers find characters organically. Many of them came to me in a dream, my favorite characters are all somehow related to each other

Sam Adams, who is sort of an Everyman paranormal researcher for the Cosmos Institute
and runs the UFO bar in Berkeley after retirement
Maria Lee his wife, also comes back as a female fatal character, and also appears as Sam's mysterious boss who may be part alien

Mr. Smith a mysterious deep state operative who may be alien

BIg Daddy who is a retired CIA operative who runs the Cosmos Bar in Bangkok

jake Lee friend of Sam Adams from childhood

Salmon Rubinstein owner of a bar in Berkeley

I have other characters that pop up here and there I have used Co-pliot a lot to research names and possible background for characters but will look at your resource list
