As a new foster parent - and thrown into it without much warning or forethought; I never thought I'd be a foster parent -- this is touching on many levels. I'm often overwhelmed and struggling with the sudden turn that life took, going from single career-minded woman to caretaker of a teenage girl. It's good to read a reminder that the rewards far, far outweigh the times when I feel lost and overwhelmed. Thank you for that.
