Although still very good you've definitely improved!
I read a piece by you called "parting gift" and i think what you've improved is you ability to pace your story and know when to give us information.

Wow! My eyes were glued to the page and i always try to give notes to people about what they could improve but i have to say i'm struggling a little.

Perhaps the characters could interact a bit more and be more aware of their feelings.

All in all this is one of the well written pieces of read on here so far!
