I really enjoyed the part about the ragman and his relationship with the horse. Also, the part about the Haentze's floral shop with the kids dropping things down the stairwell and hearing water splash creeped me out a little, but made the story more real. After all, no one's child hood is idyllic. There are always frightening aspects and you incorporated that very well into the story. Good job!
