In a shining distinction from the usual fare of 'shrinking' stories here on Writing.com, Tiny Survival defines itself by its theme of survival. rather than serving as pure titillation. A refreshing change, indeed!
Now, this is a promising young shrinking interactive! With clear guidelines laid out from the start, and a focus on survival and story more than just titillation, it's one that I will enjoy seeing grow in the future, and perhaps even contributing to!
The initial premise of this interactive is pretty different from the greater majority of similar stories here on this site, and it wastes no time getting started. If there were a criticism to be made of it, it is the lack of detail on many chapters, which hurridly pass over description in favour of progression. Of course, given the nature of an interactive, you the readers can easily rectify this by making a contribution, should the subject matter be of interest.
An intriguing entry in the constantly growing genre of interactive stories dedicated to the adventures of a shrunken individual. At time of writing, only the creator has contributed chapters, maintaining a constant tone and quality. The events that take place are nothing that we haven't seen before, but with only eighteen chapters in the bag it's early days yet; I look forward to seeing where it will develop!
There's an obvious obsession with butt-related crushing from the outset and initial laying of chapters, but room enough for people to work around that should they so wish.
Spelling and grammar could do with tightening up, as could the structure of the chapters and options available. This story should have a clearly defined direction from the get-go, rather than a meandering series of chocies that serve to do nothing but dilute its flavour.
This story just muddles around for a while, achieving nothing. The basic concept of a fantastic Voyage is fine, but the idea of the miniaturised submarine flying through the air outside a body just strikes me as slightly goofy.
If people could see past this though, and contribute to develop the story, then perhaps it can overcome these initial hurdles and really go places.
This story is exceptional. Guided throughout its development by an attentive creator, it has managed to stay on track as few Interactives have managed.
And what a track it is. Epic in scope and yet with plenty of room in its panoply for smaller, more intimate scenes of character development, everyone should read through this.
I really dislike the limited manner in which new additions are treated in this story. By all means edit entires by other people if they contain inappropriate bits, but the need to put them all in as sub-posts of the creator's own seems a little off.
Content-wise, the story hasn't developed enough (possibly as a consequence of the restrictions placed upon it) for me to comment properly.
