I once read someone say that you can only tell where you're going with a story by beginning at the end. It's not always true, but this little dandy of a tale vindicates the process.

This is my kind of story. Like something right out of film noir with Bogart. In fact as I read it, my imagination flashed on Bogart and Bacall with Greenstreet as Kale. Great word picture and story.
