An interesting short piece. Perhaps try and avoid all the ly words, there is that idea of showing rather than telling. Nice ending :)

This is the first story I've read on here and I found it an interesting read. I'm not a huge fan of first person stories as I often feel that they lack the descriptions that can be generated with third person stories. That said, I found this story had a nice pace and led the reader through the story.
