I liked the story and the over all point of no one likes to be alone. I personally would have liked a little more desctiption on the Gnomes and Dimune. I know the father was old, but what did he look like? And Flik seemed to be a very stable character, almost like the human child, in the fact that his father didn't really pay any attention to him at first. But then the human mother never belived that her daughter saw the door. Over all very nicely done.
