Hi,

A poem is a piece of writing that has expressive beauty. This is at two levels.

The first level is expression in the words chosen. To comment about this, I would say that yes, it is indeed a couplet. The words rhyme and very well. However, what lacks is the rythm, ie, there should be nearly the same number of syllables in both the lines of the couplet. Other than that its good.

The second level is the beauty of the idea. The poem is simple and delightful, although the last part about the right or wrong is open to interpretation. If it was meant to be that way, then fine.

Overall, good poetry. The author has a lot of potential.
