As an admirer of Japanese ghost stories, I couldn't help but love this one. Its almost childish tone (and I believe it is this simplicity that makes Japanese horror culture extremely effective) makes it even more striking and you did a great job putting it together.

Both naive and eerie, this story captures the reader from the first sentence. It is to-the-point, touching and nocturnal. A quick read that is worth your time.
