Very nice. I liked the imagery of the cold ice lake juxtaposed with the warmth of life. I also like your ability to convey such strong emotions. Isn't it funny how the refusal to accept the way things are is always our biggest hindrance. I think there is valuable lesson in your writing. Thanks
