I liked the sponge descriptor at the start.
I was disappointed he stole the money. The DISABLED man's money-for all we know the disabled man now doesn't have money for rent! The penitent is affected by the sinner-the act seemed so much worse since he did it in a Cathedral.
At the end it reminds me of the fickle greek gods, and the story? The selfish vanity of the Worldy non-saved.
I hope this story redeems itself as humans inspired, little gods as well with upright purpose and convictions.
