Wow. You write a very power and compelling story. I love the multiple dichotomies you create in your story, whether intentional or not. You give your character distinct and believable personalities with minimal words and effort. The interaction between Polly and Greg is cute and reminds me of dates with my current girlfriend.

The only thing you should consider adding is more explanation for Polly's condition.
